The World Massage Council (WMC) will be holding its second National & International Swiss Massage Championship in Fribourg, Switzerland this year.

CATEGORIES

There are 6 categories designed for maximum participation and participants have the opportunity to enter 1 and upto a  maximum of 4 categories, depending on their preference and choice.

1. Massage (Swedish, Holistic or Classical Western Style Relaxing Massage).  No tools allowed.
   Duration: 60 minutes.
    

2. Wellness Style Massage (Spa Style Massage, Lomi Lomi Massage, Aromatherapy, Body Sculpting, Hot Stone, Cupping, Poultice, Bamboo, etc.)
   Duration: 60 minutes.
    

3. Advanced Massage (Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Therapeutic, Stretching, Neuromuscular Technique, Myofascial Release, PNF/MET, joint articulation/mobilisation, etc.).  No Osteopathic/Chiropractic type manipulations allowed.
   Duration: 60 minutes.
    

4. Eastern /Asian Style Therapies (Thai, Ayurveda, Shiatsu, Tui Na, etc.).  Massage tools allowed.
   Duration: 60 minutes
    

5. Free Style Massage - This category includes Western & Eastern inspired Massage with/without Massage Tools
   Duration: 60 minutes.
    

6. Facial Massage (Spa Facial Massage, Japanese Facelifting, Gau Sha Facial Treatments, Rejuvenating Facial Massage, etc.).
   Duration: 45 minutes.

ENTRY COST

• 1 or 2 Categories - 175 CHF (total for 1 or 2 categories)

• 3 Categories - 225 CHF (total for 3 categories)

Note: Above prices are total amounts for the number of caregories applied for and not individual prices.
All monies paid are NON REFUNDABLE & NON TRANSFERABLE.

NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANT

The event will have 2 levels of competitions.

1. National Level:  Only open to persons living in Switzerland and who hold Swiss citizenship

2. International Level: For participants from other countries

Participants from Ukraine with "Permit S" are welcome to participate at this event FREE OFF CHARGE (this sponsorship will be by the WMC).
 

Spectators, visitors and general public are welcome to the competition free off charge.
